Michigan is wildly interesting.

One of my favorite things is learning why.

Why is Michigan the way it is?

That’s the question I’m trying to answer. Whether it means interviewing geologists, trekking out to old lighthouses, or diving deep into the history of eras gone by, my goal is to understand how the state I’ve spent my whole life in got to be the place I know and love today — and have some fun along the way.

There’s a lot to learn, and these days, you’ll find me sharing what I figured out through a popular YouTube series, and occasionally on Instagram.

Whether you’re a lifelong Michigander or someone tuning in from any other corner of the globe, I hope my work helps you slow down, get curious, and think about the world just a little differently.
